Ryan Robertson

Ryan Robertson is a second-generation entrepreneur and President of Trust Marketing and Spotset Radio Network—two award-winning companies representing the best in marketing and media. Trust Marketing stands as a premiere strategic marketing and PR consulting firm in Memphis, TN, while Spotset is the nation’s largest network of Black and independently owned radio stations, ensuring national advertising dollars flow to Black-owned broadcast media.

Previously, Ryan was SVP of Marketing at Group Black and Global Head of Marketing for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at RBI. A recognized leader in marketing, media, and advertising, he was named Ad Age’s Top 40 Under 40 and has held key leadership roles at Diageo (Director of Whiskey Innovation and Head of Multicultural Marketing), The Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and LG Electronics. With a sharp instinct for building and growing culturally-connected brands, he has spearheaded groundbreaking brand strategies and campaigns, earning 9 Cannes Lions and numerous industry accolades.

Ryan serves as an American Advertising Federation Board Member (AAF Memphis) and has been honored by P&G Alumni Network Leaders Under 40, Ad Age’s The List (Class of 2022), and Brand Innovators Top 40 Under 40. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Xavier University.

Beyond marketing, Ryan has a deep passion for arts and entertainment. A 4X Emmy-nominated Executive Producer for the award-winning web series Issa Rae Presents King Ester, he has also served as music supervisor and consultant on several series: Sauce, Wade’s World, and Brooklyn. Blue. Sky. (VIACOM).
